How to raise a service concern

What's Included

Our End of Lease checklist goes beyond a regular clean. The following tasks are included in every End of Lease booking:

Everything from our Regular Cleaning checklist, plus:
Inside oven clean — interior, racks and grease removal
Inside fridge cavity clean
Inside dishwasher clean
Remove and clean rangehood fan cover
Clean inside drawers and cabinets
Wipe inside built-in bins
Clean ceiling exhaust fans
Scrub shower tiles and floor/wall grout
Lightly dust blinds
Vacuum and wipe reachable floor and wall vents
Clean underside of rangehood and stovetop area
Polish stainless steel surfaces
Vacuum accessible carpeted floors throughout
Vacuum and mop all floors throughout
Leave the property neat and tidy throughout

Accessible carpeted floors are vacuumed as part of End of Lease Cleaning. A cleaner may spot-treat a minor visible carpet stain at their discretion where it is safe and suitable, but spot treatment is not a booked checklist inclusion and no stain-removal outcome is promised.

Empty and furnished properties

An unfurnished booking assumes belongings and loose rubbish have been removed so cupboards, floors and surfaces are accessible. Select furnished when furniture remains; the $50 furnished surcharge covers cleaning around accessible furniture, not moving heavy items.

Condition and timing

Timing varies with property size, condition, access and extras, so no fixed completion time is promised. Tell Maid Together before the visit about unusually heavy soil, excessive rubbish, mould, damage or areas that may need specialist treatment.

What's Not Included

The following are not part of the End of Lease service. Some can be added as optional extras; others require specialist providers.

Exterior window cleaning (available as an optional extra)
Wall cleaning (available as an optional extra)
Blind wet-wiping (available as an optional extra)
Maid Together does not currently provide carpet steam cleaning, hot-water extraction or professional carpet stain removal.
If professional carpet or steam cleaning is required, the customer must arrange it separately through another provider.
Pest control treatments
Garden or outdoor area maintenance
Repairs, painting or damage rectification
Removal of permanent stains, burns or damage to surfaces

End of Lease Cleaning FAQs

What if my agent raises a cleaning issue?

If your agent identifies a cleaning concern relating to an item included in your End of Lease clean, contact us with the details. We’ll review the concern against your booked checklist and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

What is included in the kitchen?

Standard kitchen inclusions cover the oven interior and racks, stovetop, rangehood area, benches, splashback, sink, cupboard and drawer interiors, accessible appliance cavities and the dishwasher interior. Full fridge interior cleaning is not automatically included.

Is carpet or steam cleaning included?

Accessible carpeted floors are vacuumed as part of End of Lease Cleaning. Maid Together does not currently provide carpet steam cleaning, hot-water extraction or professional carpet stain removal. If professional carpet or steam cleaning is required, the customer must arrange it separately through another provider.

How does furnished pricing work?

The base price is set by bedroom count. A $50 furnished-property surcharge is added when furniture remains, and selected optional extras are added separately.

What must be available on the cleaning day?

The property needs safe access, working electricity and power points, running water and lights. Remove belongings and rubbish that are not part of the clean, and tell Maid Together about unusually heavy soil before the visit.
